GGLO’s award-winning team is currently accepting applications for our Interior Design Summer Internship Program 2022 in our Seattle Office. We are a collaborative, integrated design firm located in Seattle, Los Angeles, and Boise. This summer, we are looking for designers in development who want to gain corporate experience while helping to advance our strategic initiatives through research and exploration.
We design buildings, landscapes and places that weave together a dynamic mix of uses to embrace the communities where we work. Our dynamic team of interdisciplinary professionals builds solutions for our clients by asking the right questions, deepening understanding of their needs and the context of our projects, and pursuing new ways of thinking about the future. We are recognized in the design community for the quality and seriousness of our work, and for our focus on results that build healthy communities and cities.
About the role
GGLO interns are fully integrated into a project team and exposed to authentic interior design tasks. They participate in mentoring and coaching opportunities, attend GGLO continuing education programs, explore their chosen career path, and experience life as a design professional. Each GGLO intern will identify an area of interest for research and investigation which they will present to the company at the end of their term.

• In the process of obtaining a diploma in interior design
• Authorization to work in the United States
• Ability to commit to at least 10 weeks of full-time employment with GGLO with the possibility of becoming full-time staff
• Fluent English
• Basic knowledge of Revit, SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suite
• Willingness to learn additional 3D visualization programs (Rhino/Grasshopper)
• Demonstrated ability to produce quality work
• Must be able to work independently and in a group
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and be flexible

We currently support a hybrid work environment with in-office opportunities available every Wednesday. We provide laptop, peripherals and software for remote work. A telephone and internet allowance will be provided to help you support your remote workstation.
