“For the love of kitchens”, the television show of deVOL, is launched today

At the top of the kitchen design industry, deVOL has created some of the most timeless – and stylish – spaces on both sides of the Atlantic. So when the makers of classic English kitchens announced that they were joining forces with Texas Chip icons and Joanna Gaines, we were very excited.

Launching today, August 6, on Chip and Joanna’s Magnolia Network, ‘For the love of kitchens, ‘offers a glimpse into the daily life of deVOL designers, carpenters and craftsmen to give interior enthusiasts a glimpse of the intricacies behind the kitchen powerhouse. The series will consist of eight episodes, but beware: you may have reshaped your modern kitchen ideas before the first one ended.

Since Chip and Joanna first walked into deVOL’s New York showroom over two years ago, makers have worked alongside The Magnolia Network to create a show that tells the story of their kitchens all over the place. by documenting the journey of their most remarkable renovation projects.

To watch from the United States, you will need to Register now for a discovery + account and choose the option that includes “Entertainment”. After creating access to discovery +, you can watch the show via the Magnolia Network channel from this morning.

In the UK you can also Register now for a discovery + – account however; Sky Q customers can access a free 12 month discovery + subscription where you can watch the series. When you have purchased a subscription, go back to the discovery + homepage and view all channels until you see the Magnolia network. The first episode is available from around noon.

The Magnolia Network is not available beyond the US and UK, so you’ll have to wait a bit longer to watch the series; yet, flight “crossed his fingers for that to change very soon.”

What can we expect from the first episode? Named ‘A kitchen with form and functionThe show’s debut follows the renovation of a Victorian house whose interiors are inspired by its local pub in Wimbledon, London.

Meanwhile, the episode two visits Livingetc House of Hackney favorites to create ‘A cuisine worthy of a castle. ‘ Notebooks Ready – a partnership with House of Hackney, deVOL and Magnolia Network can only mean one thing – an abundance of wood kitchen ideas.

‘For the love of kitchens will give viewers a glimpse of a deVOL customer’s journey, from designing a kitchen with a Kitchen Designer to manufacturing the cabinetry and finally to expert installation, ”says deVOL Creative Director Helen Parker.

“Each episode will have a really great take on how a kitchen comes together and all the excitement and creativity that occurs every step of the way.”

Helen reveals that the show will always end with a “beautiful set of images and a final photoshoot revealing the kitchen, some tiny, some in castles,” all of which are unsurprisingly inspiring.

The story skillfully blends the design and manufacture of exclusive handcrafted products here at Cotes Mill (above) with our talented craftsmen, showing detailed techniques with metal and clay. These products will eventually take pride of place in the final kitchen, ”adds Helen.

“All mixed up, it’s a wonderful glimpse of the people at deVOL, all the beautiful things they make and how their creativity has made it so much more than just a kitchen business. ”
