What can we expect from the first episode? Named ‘A kitchen with form and functionThe show’s debut follows the renovation of a Victorian house whose interiors are inspired by its local pub in Wimbledon, London.
Meanwhile, the episode two visits Livingetc House of Hackney favorites to create ‘A cuisine worthy of a castle. ‘ Notebooks Ready – a partnership with House of Hackney, deVOL and Magnolia Network can only mean one thing – an abundance of wood kitchen ideas.
‘For the love of kitchens will give viewers a glimpse of a deVOL customer’s journey, from designing a kitchen with a Kitchen Designer to manufacturing the cabinetry and finally to expert installation, âsays deVOL Creative Director Helen Parker.
“Each episode will have a really great take on how a kitchen comes together and all the excitement and creativity that occurs every step of the way.”
Helen reveals that the show will always end with a “beautiful set of images and a final photoshoot revealing the kitchen, some tiny, some in castles,” all of which are unsurprisingly inspiring.
The story skillfully blends the design and manufacture of exclusive handcrafted products here at Cotes Mill (above) with our talented craftsmen, showing detailed techniques with metal and clay. These products will eventually take pride of place in the final kitchen, âadds Helen.
âAll mixed up, it’s a wonderful glimpse of the people at deVOL, all the beautiful things they make and how their creativity has made it so much more than just a kitchen business. ”
We plan to spend the rest of the weekend revisiting the first episode and indulging in these interior design ideas. Good viewing.
