We are looking for an intermediate architect/interior designer who demonstrates both creativity and technical aptitude. With a deep understanding of the brand and customer, you have the design and strategy capability to formulate innovative and engaging environmental solutions. In addition to conceptual design, you will be responsible for space planning, fixture design, merchandising and design documentation drawings. You must know the technical aspects of design and construction, be proficient in construction details, have hands-on experience and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment on multiple projects at various stages within a team of project and individually.

Requirements and skills:

  • Degree in architecture or interior design
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in the United States in the retail industry
  • Strong aesthetic sensibility and ability to communicate visually through sketches, renderings and presentations
  • Experience designing custom store fixtures and millwork is essential
  • Ability to engage in rapid 3D concept generation
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD required
  • Excellent communication skills – speaking, writing and documenting all stages of

project to management, suppliers and customers on request

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with people at all levels of the organization
  • Demonstrates a driven and independent nature willing to take the initiative to get things done
  • Limited travel required

This is a salaried position. The location is a mixed (New York) and remote office. The position includes all benefits.
